Still though it was a gruelling every Friday 1 track process...I personally think I developed loads as an recoding artist, my lyrical ability went through the roof. Inspiration hey, some lose it and some work on it, I'll endeavour to make sure, I can share mine with the world.

By the end of this event...I felt like I was more a comedian than a host/MC...I tried my best to not swear, which I didn't lol...but I announced acts and raised the cheers for each act with no issue...although it must be said...my type of humour didn't go so well with a female bi-lingual poet who took offence to me mimicking her voice. Not like I mimicked to take the mick...just an observation on how she sounded when she was being gracious to the crowd for listening...ah well.

These were some of the most hardcore fans we've ever had...travelling to see us wherever we played since this day. They were also amongst the select few to see us record in Airtight Productions so they can get a behind the scenes sneak peak look into the dedication it takes to make a record.

To be honest, this was where we gained so many new fans...at our short stay with a management company we rehearsed a live p.a routine implementing cover songs into our show...for the 1st time...we realised that a cover song performed 1st and well will sell your own songs that you perform after no matter what...good formula...I will be taking note for my own solo sets in the future.

Hated the fact that they simply googled the name and just used a pic that didn't even show the current line-up...that type of journalism annoys me... Stay current, research...not have our fans think that Yung-Loco & Alfa were all of a sudden back in Educated Thugz! Woosaa! Still publicity right!?!

Dirtyson pictured with all smiling Lyricis of Musical Gang (previously Bloodpack) take a twitter pic of them brandishing our ET! Clothing merchandise which was a lil' revenue stream we had to our belts to help us raise funds to get our tracks done in the studio...Great designs & soon after the name change the S4H! clothing range followed... Now that it's just me, soon as I find a name other than "B"...I can design my own clothing range...let's get popular as a solo act 1st thought right !?!

ET! will always be the foundation that propelled us to what we've learned & showcased over the years. Though I was the 1st member to get this exact same tatt...I will never look back at it in regret...I'm proud to bear the badge that you see here. (J* Phenom-Formely Nemesis has this tatt also).

Cato who's ranked No: 4 on the site, is a hardworking dedicated artist, who has a rather substantial catalogue of his own. He's just submitted to Channel AKA and should find out by the time IDEASTAP members see this pic...if he's been selected to playlist. All the best Cato, we both know, the vox we recorded here in M'cr and with the person of choice were not levelled, exported & sent to you the right way, but mistakes inspire growth... I'ma holler at him soon for a 1 on 1 collab.

Worldwide out of 30k+ artists...now that they've stopped there points system...artists like ourselves have been shelved on their TOP RANKED TAB...(To me it's not the same). We are yet to hear/see the outcome of us being top dogs on the site...though now it's just me...better update the bio on that page as well.

Never will I forget this...having them sign there poster for me...ok sure they too have been through some line up changes...but dang! These men are veterans...Wonder Mike & Master Gee being amongst the original line up is like Me & J* Phenom from Educated Thugz!...through to School Fo' HardKnockz!...These men knew how to entertain...and the newspaper the next day made sure we all knew...they even put a few lines in about ET! as well...aww! Bless.

The epitome of Educated Thugz!...performing on stage...not just supporting...performing on stage with The Sugarhill Gang...DJ T Dynasty hidden in the back...Wonder Mike towers all in the back & Hen-Dogg & his pimp cane next to me front right. Taken with my phone lol...8mp camera so it was good enough...pro pics were taken of us that night but they are 6mb+...I don't have the best laptop in the world so storage space/speed are all bad factors for my laptop model :-( Anyway, this was from the INTERNATIONAL WORKERS DAY EVENT in MAY 2010...A few weeks later we would return to Moho and meet, greet, play for and play with the SUGARHILL GANG...

We were the headline support slot act for Esco...such a vibrant artist...would've met him again a few months ago in Liverpool but he had personal matters keeping him from performing.

I guess if it was spot the difference...Dirtyson (Far left) is smiling...My nephew (the drummer) in the Manny Hustle REMIX vid has told me that my hand gesture is known as 666 (symbolism) gesture...Totally not the case with me or anyone in the group...such secret societies we hear of probably only target the rich & famous.

At the height of ET! fame...notice in pics just like this that Alfa far right was cropped out when it came to the single release as he at this point disbanded from the group to focus on the media and video side of the industry... To this day, Alfa remains a dear friend of mine, having shot my BBC Halloween Special single last year also and has also declared his involvement in my new solo journey. Bless.

ET! hits the rave nation with Video Gurl...heavy radio played followed and the majority of shows we did since would have this in the set.

This pic was unused when it came to the single as there was a better one, still a good pic in my eyes.

After I Got What You Want turned into a teaser viral clip...we saved up the next bunch of funds to create a music video for our single Video Gurl...It got heavy airplay around the world...1 day though now that it's just me...I hope that when I say heavy airplay...the world will know that I mean MAINSTREAM RADIO STATIONS...

Just a test idea experimenting with colours and textures etc. Still though the ET! tatt is what it is...only diff between the tatt and the actual logo is that the actual logo has a mic nested within the E & T...We'd have to have the tatt cover our whole back just to make sure the detail on the microphone would last our lives...but err no...ain't having that on my back...ain't even got a tatt on my back...Yet! :-)

Dirtyson was in homeland Malawi at the time, so we had to perform this set without him. By this time into the Educated Thugz! movement we were well respected amongst the independent music scene. We were amongst a select few chose to represent at the Exodus Festival with Community Arts North West (CAN)...Good gig, great venue.

One of our most memorable 2009 performances held at The Contact Theatre...we experienced what it was like to get stopped/mobbed by audience members for signatures and pictures...quite scary when you get rushed like that...now I know why the stars have security...But still at the time it made me think I was doing the right thing.

This was the same date as the Exodus Festival...2 shows in 1 day...the 1st time we had ever done that in the 09 period.

Love the way Shirlaine took this snap...Dirtyson was saying his Video Gurl lyric..."We can make a movie as long as you can move-me"...Classic!!!

The Hip Hop World In Manchester EVENT hosted by M. Dala Productions...awarded "Educated Thugz!" & "Da' Click" as the joint winners of most popular Hip Hop group in the city of Manchester. The radio interview we had shortly after with the BBC touched on this and boy were we a hot topic...hype like this helps loads.

To actually think, Queen-Dyn actually wanted to be the 1st lady of Educated Thugz!...The track itself was regularly performed due to its' commercial appeal...and helped us get radio play on many stations in the U.K, Africa, Europe & the U.S See the portfolio for the teaser video clip.

When we 1st recorded Manny Hustle as Educated Thugz!...which would then be re-recorded and also mastered at Airtight Productions, Chorlton by the legend that was Tom Knott. It really did raise the bar for Educated Thugz! and became our most well known song. (Which is why we remixed it, shot a vid for and re-released it again in 2011 :-)

When the x1000 2nd edition copy of this promo came out, so did the poster hype...man no one at our level (starting up) were doing this so we were like our own lil' PR team...it works swear down. Imagine what big money PR does for revenue returns...dreams hey!

1st edition of this was made x100...this cover was the 2nd edition of which x1000 (I may have a few lying around)...Imagine if I may make it now, they'd be like sought after memorabilia lol. Like A Lego Set being the lead single from the promo...this 3 track cd, got our names heard by radio folk...the start of great things for the ET! movement.

Defo have I and we as a group...come a long ass way.

The difference between this inlay and the edition was: *T's pic changed to him with a guitar *The graphics that were on the snazzy 2nd Edition cover of this cd were similar to that one. *The way the text appeared, font & style etc To actually think there were 8 of us at 1 point, but May-Hem never actually recorded with us.

To be honest at the time this disc got pressed not many acts in our city were selling 'em looking like this. Never one to get on to Market Street and sell cd's with black marker pen scribbles on, but we still managed to push these out at £3 a pop at our shows.

I remember getting this into local shops to help get that local love from the city centre to Hulme & Moss Side amongst others...When Like A Lego Set came out, we knew we had started something.

Shortly after releasing: Word Play Intellect Presents Educated Thugz! 3 Track Promo. Lead single Like A Lego Set gets rotation on BBC Radio, gaining European interest from the likes of Filip Jansens in Belgium, who flew out to watch us perform at this show. Wow, some show, and that's where we hooked up with Queen-Dyn again (she happened to be watching us that night), as we 1st met her at the Miss African Beauty Pageant earlier in 2008... Lounge 31, Printworks, great venue for our type of music.

Educated Thugz! just started gigging, raw stage presence needed polishing and through more experience we became a better live act as well as better recording artists.
